Year Out in BeiraCasa reom logo

In September Victoria Saxby is going for a year as a volunteer worker to our m2o Mission Project, Casa Re’om, in Beira Mozambique.

Casa Re’om is a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) project and aims to home, feed and educate street children in Beira.  They currently have two sites, one for boys aged between 4 and 18 years at Inhamizua and the other site at Dondo for young boys and predominately girls, they take in babies to 18 years.  When the boys reach four they move over to the Inhamizua site.

Victoria is flying out on 9 September and says “I am very excited at the opportunity to be able to go out to Casa Re’om and serve the children; I want to work alongside the team already there and support them in their roles. I hope to be able to have daily bible studies with the children as well as helping in their day to day care, for themselves and their home. I see myself as being able to care for them when they are unwell, or when they just need some loving support. I would like to see if it would be possible to arrange day trips for them.”

Vic MozWhilst in Beira Victoria will be living in the home of the base leader Oliveira and his wife Angelica.  Victoria will be sending regular news/prayer requests available on request.

Some immediate prayer requests:

·         For Victoria’s visa to be granted for the period she needs when she visits the Mozambique High Commission on 23 June.

·         That God will continue to prepare her for this adventure!

·         For financial provision for all her needs in Mozambique.

·         For the work of Casa Re’om, for the staff and all the children.

Victoria has already been offered a number of generous donations. If you would like to support her financially or to support her in prayer and receive her regular news letter please email her or contact her at the Vicarage.
