Mothers and Daugters Evening - a great success
The Mothers and Daughters Ladies Indulgence Evening held on March 12th in the Rugby Indian Community Centre was a great night. We had a fantastic turn out of about 170 ladies and there were 27 different stalls/activities going on.
The chocolate fountains were flowing, thanks to Linda Lindely and team who organised the refreshments. David Maclellan was taking photos of groups and pairs of mothers and daughters and friends under the balloon arch as they arrived. See your photo and download for free at www.tinyurl.com/12MarchEvent
Activities on offer included hand massages, facials, hair styling, manicures and also for sale were bags, jewellery, cakes, books, gifts and cards.
Everyone who came really seemed to enjoy themselves. We all watched the Style Secrets presentation and cheered as Sheila popped a big bunch of balloons to celebrate the launch of How to Feel Good Naked.
The clothes swishing corner was particularly popular and £160 was raised on the night for Casa Re'om.
A BIG thank you to everyone who worked really hard making it happen and to all of you who invited your friends. |
