Turf Cutting at Overslade Community Centre

This Centre in Buchanan Road is where Overslade Church meets and Alan has been heavily involved as Project Manager to extend the building for the benefit of the residents, especially for children and young people.



On Monday 27 April we finally began work with  turf cutting ceremony after raising over £600,000 in the last three years.



In around 9 months we shall have a super new hall, which the church will benefit from. We shall have increased space for worship and to hold children’s groups, and better facilities to support the increasing community activities that make up the Kingdom work on Overslade.
