Baptism & Confirmation

Baptism and Confirmation are key points along the journey of personal Christian growth, and are in essence about commitment and belonging to God and His Church.

Infant baptisms, adult baptisms and thanksgivings and dedications for childbirth take place as part of our Sunday services throughout the year.

We hold an annual Baptism Service on Easter Sunday (in March or April) at Rugby's Ken Marriott Leisure Centre, giving anyone the opportunity to be baptised by immersion or renew their baptismal vows in water.

Confirmation is a special service in the presence of the Bishop when anyone who has been baptised previously renews their promises and is admitted to receive communion. Confirmation is open to all who have been baptised as children (and are currently a teenager or older) or adults.
