Worship Services
Worship is central to all we do at m2o. In our services we focus on God in giving him our worship. We also see our services as very important means by which people can come to learn more about God and experience his power in their lives. We have a variety of services in which we help people relate to God in different ways.
Due to the closure of St. Matthew's, St Matthew's services are now held at St. Oswald's, in Lawford Road. The Overslade congregation meets for 10.30am Sunday service at Overslade Community Centre (click here for more details)
Services at St Oswald's Church, Lawford Road
Our main service is at 11am on Sunday, with our 'encounter' informal service at 6.30pm. Traditional services are provided at 9.00am & 4.30pm.

SUNDAYS at 9am
Every week except the 3rd Sunday of the month with a traditional anglo-catholic flavour.
SUNDAYS at 11am Our morning services are very lively with lots of people of different ages. We provide a crèche and children's groups with up to 60 children involved. Children normally leave for their own groups after about fifteen minutes of the service. For further details of groups see Children & Young People.
The services have an informal feel to them and the music is provided by our contemporary Worship Teams of instrumentalists and singers including keyboards, guitars, etc.
On the second and fourth Sundays of the month we normally have a service of Holy Communion.
On the first Sunday of the month we have a Family Service. The children stay in for the whole service which lasts no more than one hour. The service is designed for all ages, with lots of action and variety.
SUNDAYS at 4.30pm These services are traditional in style for those of our members who particularly value this form of worship.
SUNDAYS at 7.00pm - ‘Encounter’ Informal Service
Worshipping and encountering God in a very informal and relaxed style.
Cakes & drinks from 6.30pm.
Prayer and the Ministry of Healing After most 11am services there is an opportunity for people to receive prayer for healing and laying on of hands from members of our Prayer Ministry Team. Various prayer initiatives and activities are encouraged, for further information see Prayer.
