Who is Jesus? - 06 March 2007
"Jesus, without money and arms, conquered more millions than Alexander, Caesar, Mohammed, and Napoleon; without science...he shed more light on things human and divine than all philosophers and scholars combined; without the eloquence of schools, he spoke such words of life as were never spoken before or since, and produced effects which lie beyond the reach of orator or poet; without writing a single line, he set more pens in motion, and furnished themes for more sermons, orations, discussions, learned volumes, works of art, and songs of praise than the whole army of great men of ancient and modern times." Historian Philip Schaff
So why follow Jesus Christ? In the history of the world there has never been anyone or anything else more worth following. The purpose and meaning of your life on Earth and life eternal are found through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." John 3:36
Reflect on what it means to follow Jesus. Why not invite Jesus into every area of your day. Talk to him as this new day unfolds and be sure, also, to listen to him. |
