“Is it true today that when people pray
We'll see dead men rise

These words speak of two amazing truths concerning the power of prayer. Prayer is not simply for the day-to-day conveniences and inconveniences of our daily lives, it is also an amazing power source for healing - a power God gives to enable us to bring His healing touch to extreme illnesses and desperate situations. The power to change a person’s life as they are healed by Him. To be History Makers in the lives of others.
However, these verses speak of much more than the bible stories of Lazarus, or the woman healed simply by touching Jesus’ clothes. They speak not only of the physical healing power of Christ, but of the life changing differences that can be made to peoples lives when people pray, and lives are turned to Christ.
“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.”
Colossians 2:13 [NLT]
Without Christ in our lives, we are as good as dead. But as History Makers, we have the chance to change lives, to be part of people being set free from their blindness and being given the chance of new life with God, and a life they can live to the full as a follower.
Yes, it is true! And I do believe it. I’m living for Him.
