You may be aware of the campaign that ran prior to Easter, to get the song “History Maker” by Delirious to the Easter Number One slot in the charts. For many weeks there were emails, texts, Facebook and Twitter requests and much publicity encouraging Christians to join in and buy the track to help reach the target. There was also national publicity on radio and TV which all added to raise the profile. As the final days approached we were encouraged to just lift it up to the Lord, and pray that His will be done, and to uphold each other in prayer. There was a real sense of “family” as millions worked together to see God glorified and His name proclaimed as Number One.
The final result was that the track reached number 4 in the charts. Whilst not the number one slot that was the original dream, the effects of the campaign were far greater reaching than could possibly have been expected by the organizers. Christ truly was glorified through it. You can listen to the track here:

“ Is it true today that when people pray
Cloudless skies will break
Kings and queens will shake
Yes it's true and I believe it
I'm living for you “
One enormous part of the campaign was the prayer, and in the closing days leading up to Easter Sunday, and also to the much wanted number one slot, prayer was all we could do, as we lifted the outcome into God’s hands.
The power of prayer is tremendous – it unites us in one common goal of being with our Father, of showing our need of Him and of all He can do for us if only we will trust Him to do so. When the power of God is at work it is not only the kings and queens that shake, but the whole kingdom
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty. Haggai 2:6-7 [NIV]
Are you prepared to be a History Maker, and join with God as He shakes our Nations, and brings about the changes so desperately needed to bring justice and equality?
