Be Still – 12 March 2010
“Be still and know that I am God”
Psalm 46:10a [NIV]
Let us today resolve to have some stillness in our prayer. Let your breathing be slower and deeper as you relax into your time of prayer.
Be still. Seek a peace and inner silence. Let your mind, heart and feelings become tranquil as you move in your prayer towards peace and silence, let there be an openness to an inflow of grace.
Surrender yourself and accept God’s will, and in the silence, be alert to God’s presence. In that silence and stillness, communicate with God. Let God communicate with you - to feel his love without words. Be quiet. Be still. Listen to God. Experience God. Let Him refresh you.
