Beauty – 18 December 2009

The view actually looked even better than this.  I know that might be hard to imagine, but you would not believe how beautiful it was.

While we were there some kids were sitting on the shore throwing stones at a duck.  

I was so angry with them!  This was such an amazing place, and those kids didn’t see it.  I am proud to say that I restrained myself from yelling at them, which was probably the right thing to do.

There is not a lot to say today, I just want you to look at this picture, and realise how beautiful the world is.  Not so I can have a go about recycling, just so you can see it.  I flew a long way to experience this stuff, and I know not everyone can be that lucky.

But don’t be like those kids, don’t just mess about trying to hit a duck, or whatever pointless thing you might do.  Realise that this is a beautiful world, a beautiful life, and we need to spend some time enjoying that.
