Joy – 17 December 2009

Another picture of the coast of New Zealand:

This is just a section of the coast, we walked for about half an hour along it with the other guys on our coach tour. It was beautiful, I wanted to take a photo of every inch, but that would have annoyed my girlfriend (!) so I decided to stick to a few.

It was a great walk, Gail and I just chatted, joked and enjoyed God’s creation. God didn’t make this for any other reason than to bring him glory. So we enjoyed it, and thanked God for every moment. When we live holy, joyful lives we bring glory to God. Don’t walk around with your head down, rejoice in every moment. God is a beautiful God, and he made this world amazing. He gets glory through beauty and joy – so live a joyful life that others will see as beautiful.

Then, when someone asks why you are that way. Show them creation, and point them to the most beautiful thing there is – our Lord on the cross.
