Stillness – 16 December 2009

Another picture today, and this is one of my favourites:

I love the reflection, the stillness of the water and the colour of the sky (it really was that blue).

We were on a bus near the town of Wanaka, when the bus driver told us she was going to stop by a lake so we could take a nice picture.  When she stopped we couldn’t really see the lake.  But then I got out.  I was stunned.  Speechless.  The lake is twice as long as this, and all the way was just as beautiful! 

I stood for a while in silence looking, taking it in, enjoying.  I didn’t know what to say, so I just enjoyed and thanked God.  When you see something beautiful, don’t pass it by.  If you don’t know what to say, don’t say anything.
