God moves to protect you – 26 June 2009
For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you. Deuteronomy 23:14 [TNIV]
A designated area is our orphanage centre at Inhamizua where we have eighty – six (86) boys. None of the parents, relatives or guardians used to come to visit the boys. Most of them were hiding. Gradually, we investigated to find out where these people are - but it is difficult work that requires more funds to achieve it. The boys are there everyday, we see them, we serve them. The Lord is also there to look after them at Casa Re-om’s camp.
Recently, UNICEF came and reported that our Inhamizua orphanage centre must be closed immediately because of poor conditions to keep the children. The centre has a capacity of nurturing fifty boys BUT we have eighty-six boys. The sanitary blocks are not enough to serve this large number. They said there is no shelter for the boys for lunching or dining. They said the place is dirty. The centre is not closed. The social services in Beira came one day to find out from the workers at Casa Re-om, to see what is wrong. They said we know and we are backing Pastor Bonga that the centre will not be closed. The workers said we are gossiping one another and this is the reason why we do not work together. They advised the workers to discipline themselves and begin to work and love one another.
Now I see people working hard to serve the lives of our boys. The harmony is back.
The place must be clean and the boys must take a bath twice or more if necessary each day. The enemy is sickness. The main equipment at Casa Re-om is the BIBLE. The protection is coming from the individual brethrens, the St. Matthews church(es) in Rugby and the St. Peter’s church in Hersham. Please, keep it up!
