Before you read, ask God to speak as you read his word

His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness! (Matthew 25:23, taken from the Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25:14-30)

To think about:

What was the servant given by his master?

What did the servant do with what he was given?

What one word would you use to summarise the reason the servant was congratulated by his master?

In what way(s) did the servant get rich?

So what…? Think and pray about what you are going to take away from God’s word today
