If you have been waiting for a long time for a need to be met, I have prayed for you!
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him." Hebrews 10:35-38
Abba (Father) in Heaven, may your Name be glorified! Thank you for Jesus and what He has done for us. Thank you for revealing your will and truths to us.
Oh Lord hear my prayer on behalf of your people who have been waiting for a long time. We know that waiting is your divine plan for us to receive your perfect finished present. You have given us many examples of this: The hen sits patiently on the egg for a period until a chick is hatched; An expecting mother waits for months for a child to be born and we have to wait for morning for the sun to rise. Father, help us to cooperate with your ways and to understand that your thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
As your people (whosoever is reading this devotional) wait day and night, help them not to throw away their confidence until the early and latter rains come. Help them to understand that you are a just God who richly rewards those that seek and have confidence in you. Holy Father, help us to persevere and to hold fast on to your promises so that when we have done your will, we receive answers to our prayers.
We bless your Name- the Most Exalted Father, we magnify your Name Jesus – the Prince of Peace, we glorify and thank you for your Messenger who is going to deliver your promise. Lord, we are aware that we do not know when the Messenger is going to come, whether it will be a person, an Angel or your word. Open our eyes and ears and help us to recognise him when he comes. We pray that the Messenger brings justice to your chosen ones who cry to you day and night. Let justice be done and quickly as you promised in Luke: 18.
Father, I earnestly pray that as you promised – answers are coming in a very little while. In the mighty Name of Jesus, we pull down any earthly barriers that might hinder your people from receiving your perfect gift soon. In the Name of Jesus we bind every principality in heavenly places from delaying your Messenger any further.
As your people wait, and this time for a very little while, I ask that you help them to begin to expect the Messenger and the perfect answer. I ask that you do not keep putting them off any more as you promised you would not do. Give them strength to endure the storm and not to shrink back for you will not be pleased with them.
I thank you Father for answered prayers. I ask that you give them a testimony so that your Name may be glorified. I ask that the answers will make your chosen ones more fruitful in the kingdom. I ask that when your perfect gift is manifested, your people will say "My, my, my - it was worth the wait!" I ask that your answer be something they never imagined and never seen before.
I ask for these miracles in the Mighty Name of Jesus and with confidence that I have asked according to your will. AMEN!
