How lovely on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news… Isa 52.7
Today, Lord Jesus, I offer you my feet
Today I choose to walk with you.
Side by side,
Stride matching stride.
For this you have made me!
Though I am but a child in faith you treasure having me beside you.
You delight in my nearness and I in yours.
You must chuckle at my naivity and frown at my tendency to stray.
Yet I remember that your feet were marred in that brutal sacrifice
Blood flowed from those cruel wounds as you hung on the cross.
Compelled by love you took my curse, my death penalty.
You shed your blood to buy me back.
Thank you for your feet.
Thank you that you walked over to me and touched my life.
Thank you that your feet brought you so close to me.
Today Lord Jesus I offer you my feet.
