Asking - 11 June 2008
“therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” Mark 11:24
Prayer is a two way process. It is not only our communication and the building of our relationship with God, but also of Gods communication with ourselves. God moving towards us.
In our surrendering to Him we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, in that peace and quiet stillness and after the acknowledgement of our failings God can fill us afresh with the Holy Spirit. We can feel a real sense of His presence with us, a peace that overwhelms us.
So we can pray our intercessory prayer. Prayers which are on our own heart, cares and concerns for those around us but most importantly prayer according to His will, that we seek to do His will, to further his kingdom, to live a life of faith and hope and a making known His love within ourselves and those around us. |
